Freelance Creative

Photography | Digital Design | Video

Since graduating from Gray’s School of Art in 2013 I’ve been creating, capturing and crafting unique visuals and creative assets. Working cross-media from photography and video to digital and website design, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with a wide variety of clients. One of the most enjoyable parts of what I do is having the opportunity to work with individuals who are as passionate about their work as I am about my creative practice.

Both my commerical and personal project works have been featured in publications which can be found linked in the selected works below. With bases in both North-East Scotland and East Lothian, I can often be found trekking the coastline with my camera. I consider myself extremely lucky to call Scotland my home, having grown up a stone's throw from the beautiful Cairngorms, the nature found on my doorstep is a continual inspiration.

    The Orchard Skirt

Something a little bit different from me. Most of my photographs in the past have been used for commercial purposes, promoting a business or a brand. Sometimes they have been used as artwork to hang on the wall or as a digital keepsake. I’m now proud to say that one of my images has been used in the design of an item of clothing.

When I was approached by Anthropologie a few months back, I couldn’t quite believe it. The concept of having one of my images...

    Where Ythan Meets The Sea

Along the scenic Aberdeenshire coastline is where a natural treasure can be found, following the River Ythan into the North Sea. On Forvie National Nature Reserve, a permanent year round Grey Seal haul-out zone can be seen from Newburgh Beach; allowing the public to enjoy nature at its finest from a mindful and respectful distance. Surrounded by Forvie Sands, one of the largest sand dune systems in Britain, this is home to...

    King Of The Mussels

January for me has been all about starting the year as I mean to go on, and not so much about resolutions. I guess the only resolution I really have is to take my camera everywhere with me. And I mean everywhere. It’s always that one time that you are out for a walk without your camera that something really beautiful happens. There’s nothing worse than regretting missing ‘that shot’. So, to avoid photographer’s remorse, I’m planning that my camera will become another limb of mine this year...

    Walking In A Winter Wonderland

It was so great to take some time off for the Holidays, step away from the computer screen and spend some more time outdoors. This year, we decided to stay in the beautiful rural village of Grandtully in Perthshire for the festive season. Despite most of the local shops being closed up for Christmas, the village and surrounding area certainly wasn’t short of activity - of the wild variety…

Citizen Science: Surveying Cetaceans Aboard The Silurian

8 days out on Hebridean waters alongside 9 other crew, surveying Whales and Dolphins with the HWDT aboard their beautiful research vessel ‘Silurian’. What can I say? It was the absolute trip of a lifetime...
